Layla and Majnun: A Forbidden Love
This installation presents various artistic expressions and interpretations of the love story of Layla and Majnun. It is a story of an unconditional yet impossible love. The story’s popularity stretches throughout the Middle East, North Africa to India and Indonesia, and is especially prominent in Turkish and Persian culture.
